Hired in the Winter of 2019, Jillian Ellis enters her first season as an assistant coach with the Brooklyn College men's volleyball program.
Coach Ellis arrives at BC after founding and serving as Head Coach of the Coney Island Prep High School girls' varsity volleyball team since 2017. While coaching at Coney Island Prep, Ellis' responsibilities included organizing and planning daily practices, planning and facilitating fundraisers, and overseeing all individual player development, team training, and game management.
Prior to Coney Island Pre, Ellis coached the tyro middle school volleyball team at St. Nicholas Tolentine.
Coach Ellis is a mathematics teacher at Coney Island Prep and has served as an adjunct at Queensborough Community College. She graduated from Queens College with her B.S. in Pure Mathematics.
