Antoinette Brown

Coach Brown will enter her first season an assistant coach with the BC softball program. 

Antoinette Brown was named the Head Coach of the Brooklyn College softball program in the Fall of 2015.  No stranger to the Bedford Avenue campus, a Brooklyn College graduate, Brown was a four-year letter winner for the Bulldogs.  Brown, a former four-year catcher for the Bulldogs accepted her first head coaching position as the leader of her alma mater.

Brown's playing career with the Bulldogs lasted from 2008-2012.  As a freshman, she played under coach Peter Grillo, and then for the next three seasons played for Bill Dumont.  

Brown's teams combined for 55 wins over her four seasons.  She was primarily known for her defensive abilities behind the plate, in addition to being one of the emotional and vocal leaders of the team.  In the 2010 season, Brown had her best offensive year, hitting .275, while knocking in 15 runs.

After her playing days, Brown has served for the last four seasons as an assistant coach for the James Madison High School softball team.
