Biography
College: Third-year member of the BC Women's Basketball team. In 2017-18, averaged 3.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. In 2016-17, appeared in one game. In 2015-16, played in 22 games. Averaged 2.3 ppg and 1.4 rpg. Scored a season-high 11 points on a perfect 3-3 from the field against York on 1/5/16.
High School: Attended Port Richmond...Also a member of the track team...Helped Raiders advance to PSAL A Championship Game as a junior, where they fell by two points in title game...Averaged over 20 points per game as a senior...Played in NYC Mayor's Cup with PSAL team, as well as Wheelchair Charities Postseason Tournament with the Staten Island/Manhattan Team.
Personal: Parents are Hugh and Susan Somers... Born in 1997... Major is Exercise Science.
Coach Lang Says: "Emma is someone who played really well toward the end of her freshman season, and we are looking for her to pick up where she left off. She is a player who can get to the rim, but has also added the abillity to knock down the three consistently."
