Biography
College: Second-year member of the BC Women's Basketball team. Transfer from Highline College in Washington where she was a standout on the women's basketball and women's golf teams. Led her basketball squad in minutes played, rebounds and was second on squad in field goal percentage. In 2017-18, Was named CUNYAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Jan. 22, 2018. Had five double-doubles on the season with 11 points and 12 rebounds at Baruch on Feb. 6, 2018, 10 points and 12 rebounds against Lehman on Jan. 22, 2018, 13 points and 12 rebounds against Hunter on Jan. 19th, 2018, and 12 points and 13 rebounds at St Joseph's Brooklyn on Dec. 30, 2017. Averaged 8.7 rebounds, 7.5 points, 1.7 steals, and 1.3 assists per game.
High School:Â Attended Highland High School in Utah. Played basketball and golf.
Personal:Â Parents are Heather Spatafore and Dan Hansgen... Born in 1997... Majoring in Psychology. Nickname is Jas or Jazzy.
Coach Lang Says: "Jasmine is a pleasure to coach, not only due of her ability, but also because of her no-nonsense attitude on the court. She is someone who will give 100% all the time and does not back down from a challenge. While many of our other players received awards, she was at many times the backbone of our championship season a year ago."
