Biography
College: Third-year member of the BC Women's Basketball team. In 2019-2020, averaged 2.9 points, 1.7 assists, and 2.7 assists per game (second on team). Helped team win CUNYAC championship for second time in 3 years. In 2018-2019, averaged 4.4 ppg. 2.5 rpg. and led the team with 104 assists on the year. In 2017-18, averaged 3.0 points, 1.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game as a freshman, while helping Brooklyn to a CUNYAC Championship and NCAA Tournament Appearance.
High School: Attended Maspeth High School. Four-year starter on the basketball team. Led the team with 6.9 assists per game as a senior. Also averaged 12.9 points. Was also a top player on Maspeth's Flag Football team that went to the City Semifinals.
Personal: Parents are Jorge and Eneabelle Pena.. Born in 1999... Undecided major. Nickname is Pena.
Coach Lang Says: "Michelle is our starting point guard, a leader and a talented all-around player who, as a junior is playing her best basketball. She is a tough defender and an excellent passer who gets the team going in transition."
