Brooklyn College Athletics

College: Third-year member of the BC Women's Basketball team. In 2015-16, played in 29 games making 26 starts. Averaged 7.5 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 1.4 spg. In 2014-2015, played in three games; Averaged 0.3 rpg, 0.3 apg. Helped team to an ECAC Division III Metro Championship.

Prior to BC: Played at NCAA Division II member Queens College... In 2013-2014 (Freshman), played in 14 games, while averaging 5.8 minutes per contest... Appeared in three games during her sophomore season (2014-2015), before transferring to Brooklyn.

High School: Attended James Madison... Four-year member of the girls varsity basketball team... Also ran two years on the girls cross country and girls outdoor track teams...Helped Madison to a Division Title...Scored 33 points vs. Goldstein on a game televised by MSG Varsity...

Personal: Parents are Grace Batson and Julian Holder... Born in 1995.. Special Education/Child Development major... Transfer from Queens College.

Coach Lang Says: "Twanda was a key player a year ago, but still has an even higher ceiling.  For a guard, she is an excellent rebounder who has an explosive first step and great ability to finish near the rim.  She is a very athletic and hard-working defender who can cause fits for opponents guards.
