Ken Broman joined the staff of the Office of Recreation, Intramurals, and Intercollegiate Athletics in the spring of 2009. He assumed the position of Recreation and Event Manager after a nine-year stint as the Event and Equipment Manager at fellow CUNYAC school Hunter College.
While at Hunter, Ken served as event director for both intercollegiate athletic contests and outside events. He was the Tournament Director for a number of tournaments, including the SUNYAC-CUNYAC Challenge, the NYSWCAA Volleyball Championships, and numerous CUNYAC Championship Tournaments. Ken was also responsible for the purchasing and management of all athletic equipment and apparel, a task he will continue to oversee at Brooklyn College.
Ken, an avid cyclist, lives in Manhattan with his wife. He also lists fishing, snowboarding, and reading as some of his main interests.
