College: Fourth-year member of the BC Women's Volleyball team...In 2012, played in all 23 matches. Led the team in kills with 198, aces with 90 and was second on the team with 191 digs. Named 2012 City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC)/Con Edison Women's Volleyball All-Star First Team... In 2011, played in all 25 matches, registered a team-high 182 kills, a team-leading 68 service aces and 187 digs. Named to CUNYAC All-Star Second Team... In 2010, registered a team-best 154 kills on the season, to go along with 55 service aces and 196 digs. Finished the season ranked 40th in the nation in Aces Per Set (.066).

High School: Attended Francis Lewis High School... Four-year member of the girls varsity volleyball team... Helped lead team to three consecutive undefeated seasons, winning the City championship three years in a row... Received Most Improved Player Award.

Personal: Parents are Lillian and Joey Escobar... Born in 1992... English major with a minor in human resource development and management... Athlete of the Year - OLL Sports Association... Also a former member of the BC Women's Swimming team.

Coach Riggs Says: "Jillian is an exceptional athlete who demands perfection from herself every time she steps on the court. She has started every match since her freshman year, and as team captain, she will be asked to step up to the plate again in her senior year and lead the team.
