Hired in August, 2019, Luis Flores enters his first season with the Brooklyn College men’s soccer program.
Coach Flores brings 25 years of experience on the sideline to Brooklyn College. For the past 18 years, Coach Flores has been the boys’ varsity soccer Head Coach for the Julia Richman Education Complex high school.
Along with his high school coaching experience that spans almost two decades, Flores has an extensive club background. Since 2007, he has been a youth coach for the Brooklyn Italians SC. In 2016 he became the director and coach for the Azzurri FC girls program. Prior to joining the Brooklyn Italians and Azzurri, Flores coached with the Brooklyn Patriots SC. His club experience has helped him build network of relationships with coaches throughout New York City and beyond.
No stranger to the CUNYAC, Flores played collegiately at Baruch College after playing high school soccer at Xaverian High School in Brooklyn.
A veteran teacher at Julia Richman Education Complex, Coach Flores continues his education in coaching soccer. He has gone on to earn a USSF B License, a NSCAA National Advanced Diploma, and a NSCAA Director of Coaching Certificate.
