Yuliya Orkis Named BC Female Student-Athlete of the Month – September
Freshman Yuliya Orkis has been vital to the success of the BC Women’s Tennis team during the first month of the season in 2011.
Playing at number 1 singles and number 1 doubles, Orkis has helped lead the Bulldogs to a 5-2 record during the month of September and a perfect 3-0 mark in the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC).
After the first month of the season, Orkis holds an unblemished mark at both number 1 singles (6-0) and number 1 doubles (6-0).
