Jersey City, NJ---The Brooklyn College Men's Basketball Team (4-3) went to Jersey City on Tuesday evening and knocked off a red-hot NJCU (5-2) team, 77-62. The Bulldogs shot an amazing 59% from the field, including 67% for the second half.
Richard Jean-Baptiste (St. John's Prep / Queens, NY) led all scorers with 19 points in only 25 minutes of play. Iouri Matsakov (Abraham Lincoln / Brooklyn, NY) chipped in with 12 points.
"We played like a championship team tonight," said Head Coach Steve Podias.
Brooklyn will face another tough non-conference team on Saturday as they host the College at Old Westbury at 3:00 pm.
