Jersey City, NJ --- The Brooklyn College Women's Softball Team (1-3) lost a pair of games at New Jersey City University on Friday afternoon.  The Bridges fell by scores of 12-0 and 17-0.

BC struggled on offense in both games, totalling just seven baserunners between the two contests.  Ashley Allen (William C. Bryant / Astoria, NY) and Miriam Alicea (Fashion Industries / Brooklyn, NY) each contributed base hits. Freshman Anna Abouricheh (Brooklyn Tech / Brooklyn, NY) hurled a scoreless inning of relief in her first collegiate appearance in the pitcher's circle.

BC will open CUNYAC play tomorrow afternoon, taking on Baruch College.  The doubleheader, which will be played at the College of Staten Island, is set to begin at 12 noon.
