Brooklyn, NY---Playing a pair of road games at Floyd Bennett Field, the BC Softball Squad (3-13, 2-6 CUNYAC) could not get in the win column in either, as they fell to John Jay (6-11, 5-1 CUNYAC) 15-4 & 19-0 on Thursday.

The clear star on the day was John Jay shortstop Danielle Bonici (St. Peter's / Staten Island, NY), who went a combined 8 for 8 with 9 runs batted in during the doubleheader sweep.

Supplying the bulk of Brooklyn's offense on the day was junior Jenna Ferrara (James Madison / Brooklyn, NY), who went 2 for 3 with 3 runs batted in during game 1.  Samantha Lombardi (New Utrecht / Brooklyn, NY) had the other RBI for Brooklyn.

Up next for Brooklyn will be a doubleheader at the College of Staten Island on Monday, April 13th.  First pitch will be at 1:00 pm which is a change from the original 3:00 pm start.
