Union, NJ---The Brooklyn College Women's Tennis Team (4-3) had their four-match win streak come to an end as they fell to host, Kean University (2-3), 7-2 on Saturday afternoon.

Ruth Perez (EBC Bushwick / Brooklyn, NY) did her part for BC as she cruised to a #1 singles victory over Kean's Lissette LaForge (Roselle Park / Roselle Park, NJ), 6-4, 6-1.

Diana Derks (Herlong / Frankfurt, Germany) came back to get a three-set vicorty over Jessica Oquendo (North Bergen / North Bergen, NJ) 3-6, 6-4, 6-3, in BC's other win on the day.

The team will return home on Tuesday, September 29th when they take on conference foe York College at 4:00 pm.
