Bronxville, NY --- The Brooklyn College Softball team improved its record to 9-10-1 overall on the season with a doubleheader sweep over the College of New Rochelle on Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs took the opener 11-0 and game two 8-0 to complete the sweep.

Marie Oneto was untouchable in the opener for the Bulldogs as she would go on to throw her first career no-hitter, allowing just one walk, while striking out seven over five innings of work.

Tara Diesel was just as impressive on the mound in game two, as she allowed just two hits, while fanning nine batters.
Stephanie Caravello had a solid day at the plate in the doubleheader for BC, as she drove in a combined six runs, while scoring three times. Diesel drove in four run in the first game, while
Allison Donovan plated four runs as well in the nightcap.
Brooklyn is back in action tomorrow, Sunday, April 10th, as the Bulldogs will take on the reigning CUNY Athletic Conference champion Bearcats of Baruch College. First pitch for game one of the doubleheader is slated for 10:00 am at the CSI Softball Complex in Staten Island, NY.
