Box Score 2 Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College Softball Team took two games from visiting Sarah Lawrence on Saturday, winning game one 10-1, and game to 9-0, in front of their home crowd. With the wins, the Bulldogs improve their record to 19-12, while they Gryphons fall to 0-15.
Freshman catcher
Samantha Rodriguez went a combined five for six over the two games, with seven runs batted in. She knocked two triples and an inside the park home run.
Junior shortstop
Allison Donovan also had a big day at the plate for Brooklyn, going four for five over the dobuleheader, with four runs batted in. She also went for two triples and an inside the park home run.
Kayla Hill pitched game one, earning her ninth win of the season, while
Marie Oneto threw game two, earning her fourth victory.
Kimberly Brennan came in for relief appearances to close out both games.
Brooklyn will head out on the road on Monday to take on York, before playing their final regular season games on Tuesday at home as the Bulldogs will take on Briarcliffe College at 4 pm. The doubleheader will be the team's senior night, in which seniors
Kim Konklewski and
Norah Marley will be honored.
