Box Score Purchase, NY --- The Brooklyn College Women's Volleyball team (7-15) defeated the Panthers of Purchase College (2-16) in straight sets, 3-0 (25-4, 25-7, 25-14), on Wednesday evening.
Christolia Butler led the Bulldogs to victory totaling six kills, while posting an impressive .500 hitting percentage.
Sasha Roopchand chipped in with five kills and five digs, while
Jessica Yin paced the offense with 13 assists, to go with 11 service aces.
Other key contributors included
Vera Zhuk with four kills and
Monineath Pen and
Francesca LoCascio with three kills each.
Crystal Wu added six assists, while
Fanny Ng tallied five aces.
Brooklyn will return to action Thursday, October 9th, as the Bulldogs will welcome the Privateers of SUNY Maritime College to the West Quad Center. The match is scheduled for a 6:00 pm start.
