BC Volleyball Excited Crowd In Home Opening, 25-18, 25-20, 25-14 Win Over York

Box Score Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College Women's Volleyball Team won their third straight match on Tuesday night, defeating visiting York 25-16, 25-20, 25-14, improving their conference record to a perfect 3-0.  The Bulldogs moved to 4-7 overall, while York falls to 1-7, 1-2.

Sophomore Francesca LoCascio led the way for BC with a match-high 11 kills, while also chipping in with seven digs. Junior Yelizaveta Malysheva had an impressive nine kills on the evening, while also serving a match-high five aces.

Freshman setter Jessica Yin had a very impressive performance in her West Quad debut, as she racked up three kills, a match-high 20 assists, and four aces, while not recording a hitting error or passing error, and only one service error.

Stacy Kay Muirhead led York with six kills in defeat.

Up next for the Bulldogs will be another conference match, however a much tougher challenge, as BC will host Hunter, who is also undefeated in conference play, at 6 pm on Thursday, September 18th.
