Meet ResultsBrooklyn, NY --- The Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Teams competed in a meet on Tuesday, November 10, defeating Old Westbury, 111-94 and 101-89, respectively. The non-conference match-up improves both the men and women to 1-1 overall.
The Bulldogs opened the meet with the 200 Yard Medley Relay, during which the quartet
Eva Chan,
Valerie Vassilieva, Rosalie Xu, and
Danielle Mollo-Siano slotted first place, hitting the wall in 2:17.89. The Men's 200 Yard Medley was to follow, where Brooklyn's
Brian Mikhayloff,
Kevin Barros,
Fong Zeng, and
Umut Tanritanir recorded a time of 1:54.69, notching first.
Nora Schrieber demonstrated a strong showing in the women's 200 yard freestyle, with a time of 2:51.35, 8 seconds faster than the second place finisher.
Karina Gaysenko and
Danielle Mollo-Siano led Brooklyn in the women's 50 yard freestyle, taking first and second, respectively. Senior Maria Lodvikov  led the Bulldogs in the women's 100 Yard Freestyle, completing the race in 1:26.71.
As for the men,
Hugo Meza totaled nine points for the Bulldogs in the men's 200 yard freestyle, swimming to first place in 2:05.87.
Dmitriy Fisher secured first in the men's 50 yard freestyle in 25.06, and second in the men's 100 yard freestyle, trailing behind teammate teammate
Kevin Leung who took first in the race.
Kevin Leung led the Bulldogs on the boards, securing first in the men's 1 M diving, with a score of 155.70.Â
