Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College Bulldogs opened their 2015 season by splitting a non-conference doubleheader with Purchase State, losing game one 12-8, but then taking game two, 11-10.  Brooklyn goes to 1-1 on the season while Purchase is now 3-1.

Brooklyn bounced back in a big way in game two, jumping out to a 10-3 lead, however a five-run fifth inning for the Panthers saw the game close to 10-8.  Kayla Hill came on in relief to clinch the win.  Hill also went 3-4 at the plate in the game.  Samantha Rodriguez, Ashley Tkacsik and Becky Ganley each drove in two runs for the Bulldogs. 

BC will be back in action tomorrow when they head out on the road to face another non-league opponent, Albertus Magnus College. The doubleheader is scheduled to begin at 2:30 pm.
