New York, NY----The BC women's and men's swimming and diving teams lost their first meet since the holiday break in CUNYAC competition at Baruch this evening. The Bulldog women fell to the Bearcats 122-76, while the Bulldog men were outscored 123-70 by the Bearcats. Tonight's loss snaps a two-meet win-streak on the men's side. Both teams will be back in action at home on Saturday, January 16, to host Bard at 1:00 PM on Brooklyn College Swimming and Diving Alumni Day.

Valerie Vassilieva finished in first-place in the 50 meter freestyle final with a time of 30.10 just defeating Baruch's first finisher with a time of 30.12.
Senior
Rosalia Xue finished first in the 100 meter butterfly final with a time of 1:26.69.
Brooklyn had the top three finishers in the 100 meter backstroke final led by junior
Eva Chan who finished in first-place with a time of a 1:35.50.
The 200 meter freestyle relay event continues to be a strength for the Bulldogs with Brooklyn foursomes finishing in first and second place in the event final.
Men's Meet HighlightsThe Bulldogs had the first two finishers in the 50 meter freestyle final.
Kevin Leung would finish in first with a time of 27.42 followed by
Dmitriy Fisher with a time of 27.90.
Kevin Leung would also finish in first-place in the 100 meter breast stroke final with a time of 1:26:00. He would be followed by fellow Bulldog
Shneur Fomin who finished with a second-place time of 1:38.92.
The 200 meter freestyle relay foursome of Patrick Limage,
Dmitriy Fisher,
Kevin Leung, and
Umut Tanritanir won the event final with a time of 1:50.57.
