St. Louis, MO--The Brooklyn College men's volleyball team dropped their final two matches of their trip to St. Louis this evening. In their first match of the evening, the Bulldogs dropped a hard-fought 0-3 match to the host school, Fontbonne University. In their second match of the evening, BC would lose in three games to Greenville College. BC starts the season 0-3 overall. The Bulldogs return to the court on January 25 at Purchase College. The first game is set to begin at 7:00 PM.
Match 1: BC- 0 | Fontbonne – 3 (19-25, 19-25, 18-25)
Box Score The Bulldogs would keep each game close throughout the match. However, BC would get too far behind early in each game to comeback towards the end.
BC was led by freshman
Vaughn Titus' 10 kills and seven digs. Sophomore middle hitter
Rudy Zhao would finish with seven kills and four digs. Sophomore setter
Kevin Bautista assisted on ten points during the match.
Match 2: BC – 0 | Greenville – 3 (10-25, 6-25, 9-25)
Box Score In their second match of the evening and third against national perennial power college volleyball competition in that many days, the Bulldogs would grind with as much as they had left for the trip.
