Purchase, NY---Despite being in all three games last night in non-conference action at Purchase (1-0), the BC men's volleyball team dropped their fourth match in a row to start the season. The Bulldogs will be back in action on Sunday in a tri-match at New Jersey City University. BC will will open the day against Yeshiva at noon and will play the host at 2PM.
The Bulldogs got off to a slow start, losing the first game 16-25. However, they would get better as the match wore on, edged 22-25 and 23-25 in the final two games.
Early in the second game, the Bulldogs would jump out to 9-5 lead.
The Bulldogs came back from being down 19-23 to 22-23 late in the third game.
BC was led by freshman Titus Vaughn's 14 kills on 32 total attacks for 14.5 points on the evening. Sophomore
Ian Miranda added five kills on nine total attacks for 11.5 points. Freshman
Sayuj Zachariah finished the evening with 21 assists.
