After splitting the first two sets, the Bulldogs took a 2-1 lead with a 25-19 victory in the third set.  However, the home team responded once again, forcing a fifth set after jumping out to a 12-4 lead to eventually hold on to a 25-19 victory.

Brooklyn would not be phased by the fourth set defeat as they rolled to a 4-0 lead to start the deciding game thanks in part to back-to-back Francesca LoCascio service aces.  Leading 14-10, junior outside hitter Sarina Rozek put the Gryphons away for good with her match-high 28th kill of the evening.
