Brooklyn, NY---In an important match for playoff implications, the Brooklyn College men's soccer team rose to the occasion, defeating CCNY 1-0 this afternoon at Brooklyn College Field. The Bulldogs improve to 7-8-2 overall and 4-2-2 in CUNYAC play. CCNY drops to 7-8-1 and 5-2-1 with the conference loss. Brooklyn will learn their postseason fate tomorrow when the CUNYAC Championships seedings are announced. The Bulldogs will host their final regular season match on Monday against non-conference local foe St. Joseph's College Brooklyn on Senior Day. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 pm.

Both teams had equal opportunities in the first half with CCNY outshooting the Bulldogs 7-6. However, the Bulldogs regrouped at halftime to put a lot more pressure on the Beavers in the second half, outshooting CCNY 12-3.
