BC FIELD Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College men's soccer team dropped their final regular season match of 2016 to non-conference local foe, St. Joseph's Brooklyn this evening on Senior Night, 2-0.  Brooklyn closes the regular season with an overall record of 7-9-2.  The Bulldogs will have a day to prepare for the 4/5 CUNYAC Championships quarterfinal at the College of Staten Island on Wednesday.  In their first meeting, the Dolphins defe6ated the Bulldogs 2-1 at CSI.  

The Bears struck first in the 19th minute of the match on a deflected cross from about seven yards out.  

Brooklyn couldn't get one to go this afternoon with three shots ricocheting off of the crossbar.  The Bulldogs unloaded in the second half outshooting the Bears 14-4 with seven shots on goal to the Bears' four.  However, the Bears made the most of their opportunities this afternoon, scoring their second goal of the match in the 61st minute on a crafty change of speed and blast from the right hash mark.  

Every senior that dressed this afternoon started for the Bulldogs in their final regular season match at BC Field.  

Senior forward Valentyn Kharko had four shots on goal for the Bulldogs.
