Brooklyn, NY---Senior Night proved to be extra special for the four seniors on the BC women's volleyball team as they played key roles in the Bulldogs' 3-0 (25-5, 25-7, 25-13) rout of York in their final regular season match. The Bulldogs improve to 8-20 overall and 5-3 in CUNYAC with the victory. Brooklyn has secured the #4 seed in the upcoming CUNYAC Championships and will host a quarterfinal match next Tuesday as they await the official announcement of their opponent.
The senior trio of
Christolia Butler,
Brianna Montana,
Francesca LoCascio, and
Christolia Butler accounted for six blocks on the evening. Montana led the Bulldogs with three blocks. Butler finished with six kills on the evening and Locascio registered five kills. Senior libero
Crystal Wu led the Bulldogs with 10 digs.
Junior outside hitter
Sarina Rozek finished with a season-high 15 service aces. She also led the Bulldogs with seven kills finishing with 22.5 points on the evening.
LoCascio also served well finishing with four service aces in her final regular season match as a Bulldog.
