Jersey City, NJ---The Brooklyn College women's soccer team dropped their regular season finale this afternoon, 2-1, at non-conference New Jersey City University.  Brooklyn closes out the regular season with an overall record of 7-8-2.  NEXT UP FOR THE BULLDOGS: BC enters the Wednesday's CUNYAC Championships semifinal as the #1 seed, hosting #4 CCNY at BC Field.  Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 pm.  The second semifinal at BC Field features #2 CSI and #3 Lehman at 6:00 pm.  

The Gothic Knights would strike first this afternoon, scoring in the first minute of the second half on a loose ball gathered and taken to goal.  Brooklyn evened the score just under three minutes later as junior back Ashley Calandra lofted a shot from the right wing.  

Scoreless for almost thirty minutes, NJCU scored the game winner on a shot taken from the box off of a dump off assist.  

Senior keeper Samantha Rodriguez finished with four saves in all nintey minutes of action.
