Game Recap: Men's Volleyball |

Bulldogs Fall to Albertus Magnus on the Road, 1-3

New Haven, CT---Looking for their third win in a road, the Brooklyn College men's volleyball team dropped a non-conference match at Albertus Magnus tonight, 1-3 (24-26, 25-14, 23-25, 21-25).  BC moves to 4-7 overall on the season.  AMC picked up their first win of the season, improving to 1-2 overall.  The Falcons avenged last week's 3-1 loss to the Bulldogs at the West Quad Center on BC's campus.

Following a tough loss that came down to the wire in the first game, the Bulldogs bounced back in the second game with a convincing 25-14 win.  Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, the Falcons were able to grind out another win in the third game, 25-23, scoring the final three points of the set.

Trailing 8-2 to start the fourth game, the Bulldogs chipped away at the home team's lead, eventually tying the game 16-16 with what seemed to be enough momentum to force a deciding set.  The Falcons would then score four in a row to take a 20-16 lead.  However, the Bulldogs didn't go away, responding with four straight to tie the game once again.  AMC scored four more in a row and after a BC point, the Falcons ended the match on a kill.

Sophomore Rudy Zhao and freshman Vaughn Titus combined for 41.5 points including 32 kills on the evening.  Titus led BC with 24.5 points including 19 kills, three solo blocks and two service aces.  Zhao led the Bulldogs with 12 digs.  Sophomore middle hitter Ian Miranda added six kills.
