Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College men's volleyball team fell by way of sweep this evening, dropping their second-to-final home match against conference-leading and undefeated in the CUNYAC, Hunter College. BC drops to 7-16 overall and 4-9 in the conference. Hunter moves to 19-7 and 13-0. The Bulldogs will be on the road at John Jay on Thursday in a non-conference match. Opening serve is set for 6:00 PM.
The Bulldogs would jump out to a 5-3 lead to start the match. However, the Hawks answered with a 5-0 spurt to never trail again. With the Bulldogs only trailing 11-8, Hunter would put together another 3-0 run to keep the Bulldogs at bay for the remainder of the first game.
Hunter opened it up in the second game, starting with four unanswered points. Already leading 19-11, Hunter scored five staight, putting the game away two points later.
The Hawks jumped out to another big lead to start the third game, 10-2. However, the Bulldogs showed some life towards the middle of the game, scoring seven straight to cut the Hunter lead to 18-12. Hunter responded towards the end of the match with four straight points to sweep BC with a 25-16 in the final game.

Vaughn Titus led the Bulldogs with eight kills and a solo block. Sophomore middle hitter
Rudy Zhao finished with seven kills and a couple of solo blocks.
