Jamaica, NY---The Brooklyn College men's volleyball team split at their final CUNYAC multi-match of the 2016 today, falling to CCNY, 3-1, in the morning and bouncing back in the afternoon, sweeping Medgar Evers for the second time this season. Brooklyn moves to 8-18 overall and 5-10 in CUNYAC play. The Bulldogs will host their final home match of the season on Tuesday against John Jay on Senior Night. Opening serve is scheduled for 6:00 PM.
The Bulldogs opened the day against CCNY. Off to a slow start, the Bulldogs dropped the first two sets of the match 25-17 and 25-18. BC avoided their second sweep at the hands of the Beavers, winning the third set 25-17 to stay alive. However, the Bulldogs weren't able to carry that momentum to force a fifth set, falling to CCNY 25-18 in the fourth.

Vaughn Titus' 15 kills. Sophomore middle hitter
Ian Miranda added six kills. The Beavers got a monster match from Sebastjiano Aga who finished with 41 kills.
The Bulldogs bounced back in a big way in their afternoon match, sweeping Medgar Evers for the second time this season. BC scored six straight points to end the first set 25-16. Trailing 16-13 in the second set, the Bulldogs scored four straight for the one point advantage. The Bulldogs would find themselves trailing again late in the second set, however, they would put a string of three straight together for the 23-21 lead. They would win the set on two straight kills. Already leading 13-10, the Bulldogs scored four straight to take a commanding 17-10 lead in the third set. Despite the Cougars making a push towards the end of thee third set, it would prove to be too little too late as Titus put the match away with one of his 20 kills.
Along with finishing with 20 kills, Titus served up three aces. Sophomore setter

Sayuj Zachariah finished with 30 assists.
