Brooklyn, NY---Despite taking a 4-3 lead heading into the sixth inning in the second game of a non-conference doubleheader with College of St. Elizabeth on Thursday night, the Bulldogs yielded seven runs in the final two innings to lose by a final score of 10-5. BC dropped the first game of the evening 17-2. The Bulldogs are now 3-14 on the season. St. Elizabeth improved to 10-13 with the wins. Brooklyn returns to the field on Saturday, 4/16, to play host to York College on Senior Day at Brooklyn College Field. First pitch for the CUNYAC doubleheader is scheduled for 12:00 PM.

Breanna Maresca to take the 4-3 lead. However, the Eagles responded immediately in the top of the sixth, scoring six runs to take the lead for good.
After losing the opening game of the doubleheader, the Bulldogs jumped on the Eagles in the bottom of the first inning scoring two runs on a Rodriguez two-RBI double that gave BC an early 2-0 lead. BC kept the lead through the next inning. However, the Eagles knotted the game 2-2 with a solo in-the-park homer. CSE would then take a 3-2 lead in the top of the fifth inning on an RBI double.
Held scoreless through the first four innings, the Bulldogs' Rodriguez crushed a two-run homerun in the bottom of the fifth inning to avoid the Game 1 shutout.
Rodriguez was a perfect 3-3 including a double with four RBIs in the second game. Cranston scored three of the Bulldogs' five runs in the second game while going 2-5. Maresca finished the second game hitting 3-4 while scoring a run.
