The next inning is where the Bulldogs took the lead for good, scoring seven runs capped by a
Shakira Feliciano RBI double scoring senior shortstop
Samantha Rodriguez. Earlier in the inning, senior
Ashley Mendez scored the winning run on a wild pitch. Seniors

Trailing 5-1, the Bulldogs rallied for three runs in the bottom of the fifth to cut the Cardinal lead to 5-4. However, the Bulldogs' comeback fell short as York added an insurance run in the sixth inning. BC would not be able to capitalize on having a base runner in each of the final two innings.
