Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College softball team dropped a CUNYAC doubleheader on Saturday afternoon, falling to Hunter 8-0 in the first game and 12-0. Brooklyn drops to 4-19 overall and 1-9 in conference play. Hunter moves to 10-13 and 8-1. The Bulldogs will host their final CUNYAC doubleheader of the season on Tuesday against Baruch. Opening pitch is scheduled for 11:00 AM during the CUNY Spring Break.
In Game 1, designated hitter
Brianna Preston managed the Bulldogs' only hit. The home team scored three runs in the third and fifth innings to pull away for the 8-0 shutout. Hunter's starter struck out ten BC batters in the game.
The Hawks scored seven runs in the bottom of the fourth inning of Game 2 to roll to a 12-0 victory in five innings. BC seniors

BC will look to snap a four-game skid on Tuesday against the Bearcats (7-19; 6-1 CUNYAC).
