Only a two-possession game (76-74) following a Maynard Grant IV layup with 1:26 left in the contest, CSI would go on a 9-0 run for the final score.

Trailing by 14 points with 9:16 left in the game, the Bulldogs would go on an 11-0 run to cut the CSI lead to 67-64 with a little over six mintes to play.  Freshman guard Michael Tesoriero was instrumental in the run with a couple of key layups and a made jumper.  However, the Dolphins would hold and

Playing without senior center Enees Nikovic, the Bulldogs used a guard-oriented attack that kept right with the Dolphins through most of the first half.  Junior guard Niv Konfino knocked down the Bulldogs' first three of the day, giving BC an early 5-3 lead in the opening 2:20 of the game.  A Maynard Grant IV lay-in at the 13:30 mark matched the Bulldogs' largest lead of the opening half until the Dolphins went on a 9-0 run, giving them an 18-12 advantage in the next couple of minutes of play.
Following a McIllhatton three-point make, CSI gradually extended their lead to 13 with 5:11 left in the first half.  Brooklyn responded, cutting the Dolphin lead to five on a Markos Plimakis layup with just over two mintes to play in the opening period.  CSI closed out the first half with a bucket to take a 38-31 halftime lead.

CSI came out of halftime swinging, scoring twelve unanswered points in the first three and half minutes.  Brooklyn finally answered with back-to-back three-point makes by McIllhatton and Grant IV respectively to cut the lead down to 13 at the 15:32 mark.

Junior guard Maynard Grant IV was Brooklyn's only other double-digit scorer with 12 points on the afternoon to go along with 11 rebounds for a double-double.

Brooklyn continues their conference road stretch on Wednesday at Hunter.  Tip-off is set for 7:00 pm.
