Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College men's soccer faced their biggest challenge of the season taking on No. 6 nationally ranked Rowan University this evening. Despite showing plenty of poise throughout the match, the Bulldogs fell to the Owls, 6-0. The loss snapped a four-game BC win-streak and moves the Bulldogs to 6-7-2 overall. Rowan improved to 15-2 with the victory. The Bulldogs will play their final regular season conference match at Brooklyn College Field on Wednesday against CCNY.
Match Notes
-The visitor scored the game-winner in the ninth minute and grabbed a 4-0 advantage before halftime.
-Rowan scored early in the second period and buried a free kick goal following a BC foul just before time expired.
-Sophomore goalie Utku Tanritanir had a busy evening, finishing with 10 saves while facing 37 Rowan shots.
