Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College women's soccer team dropped their third non-conference match in a row at home this evening, falling to Purchase College, 4-0, at Brooklyn College Field. With BC trailing 1-0 at the half, PC scored three goals in the second period to secure the road victory. Brooklyn drops to 3-7 with the loss. Purchase improved to 4-5 with the victory. The Bulldogs will have the rest of the week to prepare for a conference showdown with CCNY on Saturday for Homecoming Week. The first 200 fans will receive a FREE Brooklyn Athletics t-shirt.
Match Notes
-PC's Brett Robison scored the game-winner in the 15th minute of play.
-The Panthers wouldn't score again until the 62nd minute of action on a breakaway goal by PC's Cerissa DiValentino.
-DiValentino scored her second goal of th evening less than five minutes after her first.
-Brooklyn had a few chances late in the match that they weren't able to capitalize on including a
Cansu Usta shot on-goal that hit the cross-bar.
