Brooklyn, NY---It was the perfect regular season sendoff into the postseason for four senior Bulldogs on Senior Night this evening as the Brooklyn College men's soccer team scored five unanswered goals in the second half to cruise to a 9-2 victory over Albertus Magnus College.  BC senior midfielder Jordy Ortiz finished the evening with a hat-trick.  Fellow senior Jean-Luc Saint-Fleur also scored a goal in the rout.  Brooklyn closes out the regular season with an 8-7-2 record.  The Bulldogs earned the No. 3 seed in the upcoming CUNYAC Championships quarterfinal where they will host No. 6 seed Hunter College on Wednesday at 5:00 pm at Brooklyn College Field. 

Match Notes

-Freshman midfielder Azizjon Ziyaev put the Bulldogs on the board first in the 10th minute on an assist from junior back Sertac Altun. Ziyaev scored his second goal of the evening and fifteenth of the season just under two minutes into the second period to give BC a 5-2 advantage. Ziyaev added an assist to his line for five points on the night. 
-Ortiz scored his first goal of the evening in the 29th minute of the match to give BC a 2-0 advantage. He added a pair of goals in the second period trailing pushes from the wing. 
-Junior back, Kamil Kosmider scored the game-winner in the 31st minute. 
-Sophomore forward Kevin Pluviose scored four points on the night with a goal in the 36th minute and a pair of assists. 
-Junior back Dave Henry put the exclamation point on the match with a goal streaking down the right wing on a pass from junior back Jose Guererro.
