Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College Women's Basketball team took the West Quad floor for the first time of the 2017-2018 season on Tuesday. BC built up a 20-point halftime lead, but a furious Farmingdale State comeback forced overtime, where the Bulldogs would triumph, 76-73.
How It Happened
-Senior guard
Karen Mak was fouled with 20 seconds left and her team down a pair. Mak hit both free throws to tie the game and force Overtime.
-Brooklyn took control of the first half, holding the Rams to under 28% shooting, while the Bulldogs got 8 points a piece from Taylor George and
Alexandra Moogan.
-Farmingdale went off in half number two, scoring 50 points, while knocking down 10-15 from beyond the arc.
