Bulldogs Improve to 5-0 With 65-52 Win Over Delaware Valley

Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College Bulldogs improved to 5-0 for the first time since 2011-2012, capturing their second win at home with a 65-52 victory over visiting Delaware Valley. 

How It Happened

-The Bulldogs opened their biggest lead of the game (19), 34-15, with 2:41 remaining in the first half on a Karen Mak layup.
-Brooklyn hit on 5-14 from downtown in the first half, and went into the locker room with a commanding 18-point lead.
-BC outrebounded Del Val 52-43, marking the fifth consecutive game that the Women have won the battle on the boards.

-The Bulldogs not only led on the boards, but also forced eight more turnovers and nabbed four more steals than their opponent.
-Brooklyn had 15 assists as a team, with Karen Mak (5) and Emma Somers (4) leading the way.
-BC also had the advantage in bench scoring, leading the category 22-10.
