Montclair, NJ---In a low-scoring non-conference affair, the Brooklyn College women's basketball team dropped a 48-37 decision at Montclair State University this evening. Brooklyn moves to 7-2 with the road loss. MSU, currently ranked No. 24 nationally, in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) poll, improved to 9-1 with the victory on their home court. The Bulldogs will have a two-week layoff before picking back with local non-conference foe, St. Joseph's Brooklyn on the road on December 30. Tip-off is set for 2:00 pm.

Alexandra Moogan laid the ball in to cut Red Hawk lead to one, 35-34, with 6:46 left in regulation, the home team responded with a 13-0 run in the next six minutes to close out the game.
-Trailing by three, 32-29, heading into the final quarter, it would be Moogan that knocked down a three on the first possession that evened the score for the last time of the game.
-The Bulldogs took a 26-23 lead, their largest of the game, on a Moogan three-point make with 4:30 remaining in the third quarter.
