Glenside, PA---The Brooklyn College men's volleyball their four-match winning streak snapped today, dropping a pair of matches at the Knight Classic hosted by Arcadia University today. BC would fall to the host, 3-0, in their first match of the day. The Bulldogs then fell to St. Joseph's Long Island in the final match of the afternoon. Brooklyn moves to 5-5 overall with the non-conference losses. The Bulldogs open conference play on Monday as they host a CUNYAC tri-match against Medgar Evers at 10:00 am and CSI at 2:00 pm.
Arcadia jumped out to early sizeable leads against the Bulldogs, taking the match in three sets (10-25, 15-21, 21-25). The Bulldogs made a push to force a fourth set. Trailing 22-14, Brooklyn scored five unanswered to cut the lead to 22-19 down the stretch. However, the Knights was able to exchange points with the Bulldogs to eventually close out the set.

Vaughn Titus' nine kills. He also finished with a couple of blocks against Arcadia. Freshman opposite hitter
Ahmed Moawad added five kills in the morning match. Junior setter
Eddie Peng assisted on 14 kills against the Knights.
A rematch of an earlier meeting with St. Joe's Long Island, unfortunately went the same way for the Bulldogs as they were shutout by the Golden Eagles, 0-3 (21-25, 14-25, 16-25). Brooklyn had opportunities in the opening set to put the Golden Eagles on their heels early, but with BC already trailing by two, St. Joe's tacked on three more unanswered for the cushion to close out the opening set. SJC jumped out to a large lead to start the second set, which Brooklyn would not be able to recover from. The Golden Eagles jumped out to an early 5-1 lead to start the third set and never looked back.
Titus would lead the Bulldogs in kills once again with seven put aways. Moawad once again added five kills. Sophomore outside hitter Seva Tsuypa and freshman middle blocker
Gabriel Pjatak each finished with two blocks.
