Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College men's volleyball team rolled to a 3-0 (25-0, 25-7, 25-14) non-conference win at Medgar Evers this evening. Brooklyn moves to 2-3 with the win while Medgar Evers starts the season 0-3. The Bulldogs are back home tomorrow to host local non-conference foe St. Joseph's Brooklyn. Opening serve is scheduled for 6:00 pm.

Brooklyn controlled early part of the third set, jumping out to an 8-2 lead. MEC responded with four straight scores to cut the BC lead to two. However, Brooklyn responded with four unanswered to keep a good distance from the Cougars. The Bulldogs ended the match with three straight kills; the last two spiked by junior outside hitter

The Bulldogs finished with a .255 hitting percentage to MEC's -.078.
Moawad led Brooklyn with five kills on the evening. Zhao finished with four kills. Moawad and freshman middle hitter Shemar Brown each finished with a block.
