Staten Island, NY---The Brooklyn College softball dropped both games of their CUNYAC opener this afternoon, falling at the College of Staten Island, 9-0, in the first game and 10-0 in the second game of the day. BC drops to 0-6 to start the season. CSI improved to 11-3 with the victories. The Bulldogs will be right back on the road tomorrow as they travel to Valley Forge for a non-conference double bill.

The Dolphins scored eight runs in the bottom of the first inning. They added a run in the bottom of the third.
BC sophomore pitcher Uena Xharo (0-2) would be credited for the loss.

CSI starting pitcher Nicolette Tripani improved to 4-2, pitching three innings of no-hit softball, striking out seven.

Angelica Cornier managed the Bulldogs lone hit of the day, a double off of CSI reliever Alexandra Conanan.
After scoring two runs in the bottom of the first inning, the Dolphins opened the game up in the next inning with five runs thanks in part to a two-run homer.
BC freshman pitcher
Anna Curran dropped to 0-3 on the season with the loss.
