With Cairn leading 2-1 in the top of the fifth inning in Game 1, the Highlanders exploded for seven runs in the top of the inning for the final score, which ended after the bottom of the fifth.

Trailing 1-0 following the top of the first inning, the Bulldogs responded in the bottom of the inning. In Game 2, the Highlanders once again struck relaively late in the game, scoring 12 runs in the top of the fifth inning.

The Bulldogs would find themselves in a 6-0 hole halfway through the second inning.  BC would rally, starting with a three-run homer hit by freshman pitcher Anna Curran.  Lima would drive sophomore Brianna Preston home with an RBI single to cut the Cairn lead to 6-4.  Junior third baseman Nicole Boudouris would drive sophomore outfielder Daminska Estime home on a RBI single.  Lima tied the game crossing home on a Feliciano ground-out.

Following a Cairn run in the top of the fourth inning, the Bulldogs took an 8-7 lead scoring a couple of runs in the bottom of the inning.  Freshman infielder Dina Nguyen led BC off with a single.  Nguyen and Boudouris would eventually score by way of a 2-RBI single hit by sophomore outfielder Angelica Cornier.
