Bronx, NY---The Brooklyn College softball lost oth both games of a CUNYAC doubleheader this evening on the road at Lehman College. Brooklyn falls to 6-22 and 2-10 in CUNYAC. The Lightning improved to 10-22 and 7-5 in CUNYAC. The Bulldogs return home tomorrow for a non-conference doubleheader against the College of New Rochelle. Opening pitch is scheduled for 5:00 pm.
In Game 1, the home team scored five runs in the sixth inning to end the game, 10-2. Lehman took a 5-0 lead through the first four innings before the Bulldogs scored a couple runs in the top of the fifth. Junior infielder

Anna Curran each managed a single off of Lehman starter Yaidee Neves who picked up her seventh win of the season. Lehman right fielder Natasha Minier went 3 for 4 and scored a run.
In Game 2, the Lightning scored 14 runs in the first two innings following a Bulldog run in the top of the first. Freshman center fielder and lead-off hitter
Leslie Lima put BC on top first scoring on a triple with an error. The Bulldog bats were silenced in the next two innings while the Lightning rallied. Curran gave BC their second run of the game with an RBI double driving junior outfielder

Daminska Estime scored BC's final run of the game on a sacrifice fly hit by Lima. Nieves earned her second win of the evening, pitching two innings, yielding a hit, and giving up a run.
