Brooklyn, NY---With the Bulldogs leading 1-0, New Jersey City's Theo Sanoh tied the match with just under seven minutes remaining in regulation. The teams would remain tied through two extra ten-minute periods that resulted in a 1-1 draw. The Brooklyn College men's soccer team moves to 1-2-2 with the non-conference draw. NJCU remained undefeated on the season with a 3-0-1 record.
Match Notes
-Senior captain Jean Luc Saint-Fleur put the Bulldogs on the scoreboard first, gathering a loose ball in a crowd and drilling a shot from the above the box 25 yards out that grazed the goalie's finger tips.
-The Gothic Knights were the busier team offensively on the afternoon, outshooting the Bulldogs 24-7 including 14-4 in shots-on-goal.
-BC sophomore keeper,
Utku Tanritanir, had another solid performance between the sticks, finishing with 13 saves in all 110 minutes of action.
