Randall's Island, NY---The Brooklyn College men's soccer team dropped a tough CUNYAC match this afternoon on the road, falling to John Jay College, 2-1. With the match tied 1-1 halfway through the second period, the Bloodhounds scored the go-ahead goal by way of header. Brooklyn drops to 2-6-2 overall and 1-2-0 in CUNYAC. John Jay improved to 4-4 and 3-0 with the conference victory. BC returns home after a five-game road swing on Saturday to host the College of Staten Island.
A close match throughout, BC Head Coach, Joe Andre felt the Bulldogs missed some opportunities this afternoon, "We had opportunities to score but didn't capitalize on clear-cut chances."

-The Bloodhounds got on the board first early in the match to take a 1-0 lead in the fifth minute.

Azizjon Ziyaev tied the match with a goal in the 36th minute on an unassisted breakaway. The teams would head into halftime deadlocked 1-1.
-Brooklyn out-shot the Bloodhounds 27-11 for the match, including 11-6 on shots-on-goal.

Utku Tanritanir, finished with four saves, all in the first period.
