Brooklyn, NY---After winning three straight conference games to improve to 3-2 in the league, Brooklyn was handed a home defeat by York, bringing the Bulldogs to 3-3 in CUNYAC play.

How it Happened

A Michael Tesoriero three-pointer gave Brooklyn a 10-point lead, 16-6, just over five minutes into the game.  York would answer with a 41-13 run, turning the table to take an 18 point lead late in the first half, which would turn into a 47-31 advantage at the half.  The Bulldogs were able to pull within six points with 49 seconds to go, however the team failed to make a three late.

Box Score Breakdown

York had five players in double figures, including Darin Dove's 23 off the bench.  The Cardinals made the most of their shots from beyond the arc, knocking down 9-22, while the Bulldogs were only 11-37.  Brooklyn was able to dominate the boards, holding a 48-33 advantage on the glass.

Maynard Grant posted a double double of 20 points and 10 boards.  Teseriero set the tempo for BC, dropping 15 points and dishing out 8 assists. Alpha Bah, fresh off his conference Rookie of the Week Award, pulled down a game-high 13 rebounds (7 offensive), while chipping in 8 points.  Ben Batash and Noah Shy each poured in 11 points.
