Brooklyn, NY---With all five Baruch College starters reaching double-figures in scoring, the Brooklyn College men's basketball team dropped their second conference game in row this afternoon, falling to the Bearcats, 77-60, at the West Quad Center. Brooklyn moves to 3-12 overall and dips below .500 to 3-4 in CUNYAC. Baruch improves to 7-8 and 4-3. The Bulldogs continue conference play at the College of Staten Island on Wednesday at 7:30 pm.
How It Happened
-Baruch used a 7-0 run to extend their lead to 14, 47-33, with 14:25 left in the game before leading by as many as 20 points in the second half.
-The Bulldogs controlled the game early, leading by as many as eight points with 13:24 left in the first half following a made three-pointer buried by sophomore guard Michael Tesoriero. The Bearcats took the lead for good after a three-point make of their own at the 4:38 mark in the first half.
-Brooklyn trailed by as few as three points early in the second half following a three-point play converted by senior guard Ben Batash. Baruch responded with a 6-0 run to push the lead back up to nine with 18:33 to go.
